NVIDIA held an all-day CUDA Tutorial during Supercomputing 09 in Portland, Oregon. NVIDIA engineers partnered with academic and industrial researchers to present CUDA and discussed its advanced use for science and engineering domains. The morning session introduced CUDA programming, with many brief examples from different HPC domains, and discussed tools and programming environments. The afternoon featured advanced issues such as optimization and sophisticated algorithms/data structures, and closed with real-world case studies from domain scientists using CUDA for computational biophysics, fluid dynamics, seismic imaging, and theoretical physics. This video segment features a perspective from an attendee of the tutorial.

@poerik lockheed is not the army….and cuda’s being used to optimize simulations that any engineering consulting co. would benefit from.
This guy roight here sounds like he really knows what he’s talking about. If I didn’t know any better, I’d have thought this was old NicK Cage talking about CUDA. Yeap.
! Lockheed Martin plus nvidia
wtf the army and nvidia hmmm
they lost me on that ma by i buy ati …
just kidding
but it does smell a bit new world order to me
this means geforce 300 is ready and the rest
Ah, sorry I took you for an ATifag. You know one of those people who say the 5 series will be the end of Nvidia.
i was being scarcastic =_=
don’t be dumb and read it as if you are a geek
Why would they be on life support? They don’t make even half of their income from discrete Geforce products, don’t be dumb. Why not learn about an industry before spewing garbage. Nvidia makes huge profits from Quadros, Teslas, and chipsets (not so much anymore).
so like nvidia u guys on life support or something
Dang it man! You got it made! Lockheed Martin !
Fluid Dynamics!
I envy you
~
Great Video! Just wish they would have let him talk for another 10 min. not just 1min
second =D
